Has the boy finally become a man?

I always referred to him as “the boy who batted”! But after watching him perform throughout the matches against Srilanka, I couldn’t help but feel something different about him, it felt as if he is finally getting matured and realized the kind of role he has to play. Although he scored just one run in the second innings, it would be criminal to accuse him for that.

There you go! This photo is what that impressed me most! That’s Ashraful after he got his hundred. No smile, no leap of joy.. just solid steel, greet and determination. Looks so different from to the boy who scored a century against the same opposition fiver years back. So, has the boy finally become a man? Or will he just go back to hibernating and take another nap now that he did his job..?

We can only wonder…
